The CPEG Final Year Project (FYP) provides CPEG students the opportunity to integrate what they have learned through the CPEG curriculum, and to demonstrate their ability to work across hardware and software and to create system solutions for problems.
CPEG students can select projects offered by CPEG or non-CPEG faculty members in the Department of Electronic and Computer Engineering or the Department of Computer Science and Engineering. You are STRONGLY ENCOURAGED to start consulting with faculty members as early as possible to maximize your chances of creating a good project. The timelines for the project selection process, the project requirements and grading schemes are specified in the respective FYP web pages:
Grading Rubrics
CPEG FYP students, regardless of whether he or she is supervised by a CSE or ECE faculty, is assessed based on a CPEG rubric which places emphasis on software/hardware or system integrative view.
Best Final Year Project Award
To recognize the well-performance of the CPEG Final Year Project teams/Final Year Thesis, the Best CPEG Final Year Project/Final Year Thesis Award is established since 2006.
